SAFHR has a reputed tradition of an international Internship program been recognised by Universities, including Melbourne University and the JFK School, [Women in Public Policy Programme] Harvard University. Presently, its internship programme is based in Delhi.

SAFHR invites applications for Internships that will primarily be associated with its programmes - “A Human Rights & Peace Audit Exercises on Partitions as Method to Resolve Ethno-National Conflicts in South Asia” and “Sri Lanka Journalists Media Resource Centre”.

The Internship program will help candidates gain work experience and academic credits and provide exposure to South Asian perspectives relating to human rights agenda, including third and fourth generation rights and linking rights with peace and democracy. It should enable young scholars to consolidate their research, writing and coordination skills.

SAFHR encourages students, pursuing graduate and post graduate studies in Political Science, History, Sociology, Anthropology, Media Studies, International Studies and other related social sciences to apply.

DURATION: SAFHR accepts applications all round the year, but only for a minimum period of three months and more. There is a stipend amount of Rupees 5000.00 per month for the interns.
