| Web Content Writer The Web Content Writer is responsible for managing all aspects of the web content lifecycle starting from gathering content from various sources to making additions, changes, and corrections to website content and ending with final quality control. The Web Content Writer writes for and manages website blogs, forums, newsletters and other website content. He/She proof reads and edits copy for clarity, grammar, spelling, brand/voice consistency and style. He/She effectively manages, warehouses and catalogs all web content assets. Responsibilities/Role Description: Researching, reporting and writing website articles on various topics and industries. Proofing and editing website content for clarity, grammar, spelling, brand/voice consistency and style. Communicating with clients to effectively collect, organize and catalog all web content assets. Managing and promoting various blogs, forums, newsletters etc. on the Internet. Writing compelling and effective copy for Internet advertising campaigns i.e., online banners, e-mail promos, text ads, website landing pages etc. Doing SEO related keyword research, link building and keeping up to date with the latest SEO trends & concepts. Ensuring that all online content is optimized for Search Engines. Desired Profile/Skills: No prior work experience required. Freshers are welcome to apply. Bachelors degree in any subject. Diploma and correspondence courses do not qualify. Ideally would have a minimum of 70% marks in class XII. Must be Internet savvy. Very high level of comfort using the Internet and a web browser. Excellent written communication skills. Strong editing/proof reading skills. You *MUST* have the ability to pay attention to detail and be able to notice problems in punctuation, grammar and spellings. Ideally would have knowledge of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) including Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click Advertising (PPC). Must have the ability to function with limited supervision at a demanding pace. Strong organizational & time management skills. Ability to multitask.
